Ed cracks me up. He is such a neat freak, which Tony and I are far from. He cannot stand to eat anything that gets his hands dirty, and he will freak out when they are until they are cleaned.
But last night I was watching him play with some Lincoln Logs and it was making me giggle. He likes us to build bridges with them, but I told him to make it by himself and I would watch. Well, I was watching him and he would perfectly a line them together and if they would get messed up or he couldn't do it he would hit them and make them go everywhere. He was getting so frustrated because They wouldn't stay lined up perfectly.

Oh, that was SO like Jaron at that age!! He would line his little cars up perfectly and would freak out if someone bumped them. Look out, it doesn't get a lot better :) Oldest child syndrome, perhaps?!
I wish gabe was like that. Right now he is going outside and bringing in handfuls of dirt and dropping them in the kitchen. There is nothing neat about it.

He also cannot stand for books to be put away on shelves or things to be piled neatly. He has to spread everything out all around him. We are constantly picking up. I bet it is an age thing though. We'll probably get our turn someday. I'm learning to be careful what you wish for.
