So Excited!!
We are so excited to finally move into our own house. Although the process seems to be taking forever!! Tony and I feel so grown up now, haha!! But we are so excited that all we can talk about is what this will mean for us as a family! I think Tony is most excited over the fact that he can finally get a dog. This could be a bit of challenge at first, because our kids are scared of dogs! But we are hoping that if we start them out with a puppy and one that is constantly around they will come around to them. Of course Tony wants a big dog bahaha!! We both want a Chocolate Lab!! I know that Tony is going to name him Maximus!! So, this is just some random babbling but if you read this then something must've caught your eye!!!

Friendship
Last weekend I attended the Women of Faith conference in Spokane. This is the first time I have ever attended on and I have to say that it was so refreshing. Not only did I get a 24 hour break from my kids, but I got to come together with thousands of other women and worship the Lord and let his Holy Spirit come down on us all!!
While there one of the speakers talked about friendship, at first I was like really?? Then as she got more and more into her message it really started to hit closer to home. Throughout our marriage we have moved a lot, so making friends has been hard because it feels like everytime I would open myself up we would move again. So, I just started closing myself off to people or holding them at arms length.
Even now that we have been in Idaho for almost 3 yrs I still find myself closed off a little and hesitant towards people. I guess, mainly afraid of getting hurt or what they will think of me. Silly I know! The hardest thing is just being myself and letting people see me for me!
I know that I have a friend who sticks closer than a brother and will never leave me, gossip or hurt me, but everyone girl and even guys need that one friend they can turn to no matter what and no matter the time. I have many close friends but I will say the my closest friends live in Iowa and Lousiana, don't get to see them that often.
I have a few good friends from church, but I know that at times I am still holding part of myself back. Silly, because I know that they wouldn't think any less of me if I made a fool of myself or said something wrong. I really need to work on just being me and letting people see me for me!!!
Just a little bit of what was on my mind!!

Oppression
On Monday night in class we discussed a book titled Pedagogy of the Oppressed. I have to admit that when I started reading the book I was lost. But when we discussed it things became more clear. I realized that my biggest Oppresser is myself. Even sitting in class I kept talking myself out of joining in the discussion. Then the next day my Brother in law talked about it in his devotional. I love that God is showing me this and showing me ways to overcome it. I know that I may never be a great public speaker or say super scholarly words, but I know that I am doing what I have been called to do. I also view the way I treat and talk to my kids differently.
The book may have been a difficult read, but after hearing the discussion on it made a lot more sense.

Whats going on!?!?!?
Wow, so much has happened since my last post. We went on vacation to Cabo San Lucas and had an amazing time. Then we got back and got Eddie ready for the first grade. He absolutely loves his school and his teacher. The teacher has had nothing but good things to say about him.
In May I decided that I wanted to go back to school and persue my Master's, so I looked into some schools and some that suited by program and location. So, I really started looking in Gonzaga University. Well, needless to say I got into the Organizational Leadership Masters program. I was excited and nervous all at the same time, so a couple weeks ago I started class. It has been a lot of fun.
I am also very excited to report that Tony and I are in the process of buying our first house. We are so stoked!! I am excited because it feels like we are finally setting down roots. When I can I will post pics. Hope everyone else is doing good. God is awesome and His wonders never cease!!

Marriage
A few weeks ago I was on Twitter and I saw a post that hit me hard. Maybe I took it wrong I don't know. But a lady wrote that she didn't see the point in getting married when all she sees is people getting hurt through divorce. Then to see someone I am close to agree with her made me sad. Yes, there is a high statistic for divorce but sometimes I think people rush into it faster than they should, not always but sometime.
My hubby and I have been married for going on 9 years, and I have loved every minute of it. Has it always been easy no, but we have become stronger through these difficult moments. We have an amazing marriage and yes we have to work at it, it isn't all pie in sky all the time.
I think often times people go into marriage thinking it is going to be a cake walk and when they find out that it isn't they high tail it outta there. A marriage takes work and committment from both sides.
Our pre-marital counselor told us that you have to do whatever it takes to keep the flame alive in your relationship. Whether that is listening to her talk every once in awhile or swinging from a chandelier you do whatever it takes. Because a marriage shouldn't be just a flame it should be a full blown fire that you should keep alive.
I love my husband more now than I did when we got married, and thats because we do whatever it takes to keep our fire alive. But most important is we keep Christ as the center of our marriage. Because without Him we wouldn't have made it this far.
This has been on my heart for awhile and I thought I would share it with you all!!!

Where has the time gone!!!
Wow, I did not know that it had been so long since my last post!!! Since my last post we've welcomed our third baby into the family!!! A daughter Danielle Pearl!! She is a momma's girl and is going to be turning 2 this August! She is very tall for her age and a lot of people think that she is well over 2, but I believe she is going to be a volleyball player with her height!!
Bailey, is as energetic as ever. She still had the super curly hair like her mom, and loves to wrestly with her daddy. However, if you say you are going to wrestle you better be ready, because she doesn't hold anything back. She is 4 now and a ball of energy. If we let her she would live outside rain or shine!!!
Eddie, is 6 now and started Kindergarten this last year. I can't believe my oldest is already in school. He loves it, but he can be handful because he likes to help everyone else and that gets him in trouble sometimes. He is also a perfectionist and has a hard time moving on, when something isn't up to his perfection!!! He went through a rough patch about a month ago, but we kept talking to him and he is back to his normal self.
Tony still works at the Kroc Center in CDA, ID and loves it because he gets to use his hands and not sit behind a desk all day. He has a great group of guys that he works with and has many opportunities to witness and mentor his staff!! He also coached JV Highschool Girls basketball this last year and loved it. His girls only lost 4 times, and he was very proud of them.
Hmm, as for me, I stay home with the kids!! Some days are harder than others but I love it. I am trying hard to get back in shape after having 3 babies and found this great company called Advocare who helps in weight loss, energy boost, and muscle gain, and much more. I have done the 10 day Cleanse and it is amazing. For 10 days you stick to the plan, and it does a pretty amazing cleanse of your body. I hope that makes since. I also use a product called Catalyst and it is for muscle tone, strength and energy. They have so many wonderful products!!!
As a family we are doing wonderful!!! We love to go out do things as a family and it is so much fun!!! God has been so awesome to our family!!!
